Factory Maintenance Helper

Established in 1965, Auto Cast, Inc is a high quality zinc and aluminum die casting manufacturer of functional, structural, and decorative castings. We offer services including die casting, machining, finishing and final assembly to meet customers needs Our team of world class employees is looking for a reliable and knowledgeable individual to join our Factory Maintenance team

This is ultimately a 2nd shift position that will require training on 1st shift.

Some of the things you will do include:

- 1. Perform a variety of general trades related maintenance duties to maintain plant systems, structures and equipment
- 2. Repair breakdowns on diecast machines, trim presses and other related machinery as soon as possible.
- 3. Make replacement parts, piping, hydraulic repairs, and minor electrical repairs when needed.
- 4. Perform welding operations to repair equipment or to fabricate various structures as needed.
- 5. Utilize basic knowledge of hydraulic systems and pumps to repair them.
- 6. Utilize basic knowledge of electricity and electrical circuits to facilitate locating and repairing electrical issues.
- 7. Preventative maintenance of all plant equipment
- 8. Use daily, weekly and monthly schedules for checking and lubricating machinery and documenting these checks
- 9. Maintain adequate inventory of key replacement parts for repair of equipment
- 10. Maintain building and grounds as needed
- 11. Make emergency repairs on all plant equipment immediately upon notification of failures
- 12. Assist all other employee's when needed to train and keep machines operational
- 13. Any other duties that management may deem necessary
- 14. Obey and practice all safety procedures and properly use LOTO and wear required PPE
- 15.Must have or in process of acquiring own personal tools specified by leader, see minimum required tool list
- 16.Work overtime as required with little or no notice to keep machines running to meet production schedule
- 17.Maintain clean and organized safe work environment in the plant including following 5S

**Requirements**:

- Must have demonstrated history of reliability and dependability
- Mechanical skills are a must
- Physically able to bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Must have high school diploma, GED or equivalent life experience.

Pay: Up to $19.00 per hour
