Smt Technician

LifeLens Technologies, Inc. is a medical device developer located in beautiful Bucks County, PA. We are pioneering innovative, next-generation treatment devices for personal health monitoring.

This is a full-time, on-site position.

**Summary**

Supports manufacturing production by performing manufacturing processes within a GMP environment. The position is responsible to the Manufacturing Team Lead or as designated by Manufacturing Management.

**Essential Functions**
- Able to read and understand batch process documentation and perform tasks as instructed
- Work with tools to complete manufacturing steps
- Able to concentrate on detailed work without distraction
- Comply with all company and government safety and quality regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment when necessary

**Competencies**
- Surface mounted technology (SMT) equipment operation experience required
- Experience working in a GMP manufacturing environment
- Experience in PCB circuit assembly and manufacturing preferred
- Soldering skills a plus
- Must be detailed oriented
- Must be able to read and write in English

**Required Education and Experience**

High school diploma or equivalent.

**Physical Demands**
- Able to sit and/or stand for an extended period while working.
- Must have excellent fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination
- Vision: Must be able to work under a microscope for extended periods
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Due to the magnetic fields created by our pick-and-place machines, for safety reasons, SMT Technicians/ Operators cannot have a pacemaker or ICD. Applicants will be asked during the interview process if they are able to safely work on these machines.

**Expected Hours of Work**

Scheduled hours as assigned Monday through Saturday for the first shift.
