**Job Description**:
Key Responsibilities:

- Payment Posting: Accurately post payments from insurance companies and patients to the appropriate accounts.
- Claims Submission: Prepare and submit insurance claims electronically and via paper.
- Follow-Up: Monitor and follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
- Audit Collaboration: Work closely with the auditing team to resolve any discrepancies and ensure all claims are compliant.
- Patient Communication: Communicate with patients regarding their accounts and resolve any billing issues.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all billing transactions and communications.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing, preferably in an optometry or ophthalmology setting.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of insurance claims processes, coding (ICD-10, CPT), and medical billing software.
- Skills: Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient operations.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
