They must possess a pleasant and professional disposition in dealing with the public, residents and staff members. Performs a variety of duties for the unit, which includes but is not limited to; appointment scheduling and setting up transportation, working directly with Doctors and Nurse Practitioners, scanning, file uploading, data input, answering the telephone, determining the nature of a call and direct caller to appropriate individual or department. Receive inquiries and assist in the release of personal health information in accordance with established policies and procedures. Receive and follow instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established policies and procedures. Provides support to the clinical staff by tracking consults, stat orders, office supplies, patient movement throughout the system, helping with labs and diagnostics, etc. Report suspicious persons/information to supervisor immediately.
