Our goal is to Barnstone Art For Kids is a non-Profit arts organization focusing on children facing adversity and trauma.
Overview: We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our organization as Board Members. As a Board Member, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting our organization's mission and goals. This is a volunteer position that offers an opportunity to make a positive impact in the community. Duties: - Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the organization - Attend board meetings and actively participate in discussions and decision-making processes - Collaborate with other board members to develop and implement organizational policies and procedures - Assist in fundraising efforts and donor cultivation - Utilize your skills in volunteer management, public speaking, recruiting, social work, training development, Salesforce, social media management, leadership, and supervising to contribute to the success of the organization - Act as an ambassador for the organization by representing it at community events and networking opportunities Requirements: - Strong commitment to the organization's mission and values - Previous experience serving on a board or committee is preferred but not required - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of individuals - Familiarity with nonprofit governance practices and principles is a plus - Availability to attend regular board meetings and participate in committee work Please note that this is a volunteer position. While there is no monetary compensation, serving as a Board Member offers valuable opportunities for professional growth, networking, and making a difference in the community.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $31.33 per year

Expected hours: No more than 2 per week
