A General Motors Accessory Distributor is seeking a full time Inventory Administrative Specialist. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting the efficient operation of inventory management systems. This role involves meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7:30am - 4pm

Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management:

- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including stock counts, adjustments, and transfers.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel to reconcile physical inventory with system records.
- Assist in identifying slow-moving or obsolete inventory items and propose appropriate action.

2. Data Entry and Documentation:

- Enter inventory data into computerized systems accurately and in a timely manner.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies as required.
- Maintain organized files and documentation related to inventory transactions and adjustments.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures.

3. Communication and Collaboration:

- Partner with warehouse, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth inventory operations.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding inventory-related issues.
- Provide support to other team members and departments as needed.
- Provide backup support to Customer Service team for coverage during lunch breaks and time away from work.

4. Quality Assurance:

- Conduct regular audits of inventory data to identify inaccuracies or discrepancies.
- Participate in periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile variances.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.

5. Compliance and Safety:

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations in all inventory-related activities.
- Report any safety hazards or concerns related to inventory storage or handling to supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in inventory management or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of inventory control principles and procedures are desirable.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
