SUMMARY

The Service Supervisor position will be responsible for managing the Defense Aftermarket field support, to include: administration, field service support, repairs, part requests and recovery. This position will supervise and manage the schedule for Field Service Representatives (FSRs) and maintain customer satisfaction by providing customers and field support personnel with technical and project assistance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor projects for on-time deliverable, budget, and overall performance to meet the needs of the customer and company expectations
- Supervise, coach and provide guidance to other on daily tasks
- Train and mentor field support personnel in the areas of customer service, day-to-day business operations and continuous improvement
- Communicate effectively and coordinate tasks to resolve problems in a timely manner. Plan and schedule daily activities to ensure all projects are completed within deadlines.
- Work cross functionally with internal and external customers to get services and parts expedited to meet the customer’s satisfaction
- Present a professional image of Oshkosh Defense to the Government and to US commercial agencies
- Engage and develop a favorable work environment within Oshkosh Defense through a friendly manner and cooperative attitude in dealing with other employees and customers
- Follows established departmental and other required procedures
- Willingly assists others as necessary to meet deadlines
- Travel as required in support of projects and field personnel support, approximately 30%

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management with 4 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area or equivalent work experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Supervisor experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
