Alliance Homecare is looking for a **MALE Certified Home Health Aide** to work with a client in **Woodmere, NY**

**$22 an hour**
- **Client: Male, 89 Years Old**:

- **Diagnosis: Dementia**:

- **Location: Woodmere, NY**:

- **The client will be moving to Long Beach in the near future, ideally the caregiver will be flexible to continue care after moving.**:

- **Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 8:30am-5:30pm**

**Client Details**:

- Kosher home
- Requires assistance with changing & showering
- Caregiver to encourage eating 3x a day
- Caregiver to encourage walking
- General companionship/interaction with the client - he loves to play games and watch baseball.
- Caregiver **NOT **to be on phone while on shift.

**Home Health Aides will provide the following tasks as indicated on the individualized plan of care**:

- Perform home management tasks including housekeeping, laundry, shopping, accompanying to appointments, and errands
- Prepare and serve simple modified diets according to instruction and assists with feeding
- Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
- Assist with medication as specified on plan of care
- Observe and report all changes to RN
- Demonstrate competence in performing necessary skills
- Complete all other duties assigned within the HHA scope of practice

**HHA Job Requirements**:

- Must have an active New York State Home Health Aide Certificate
- Must have at least 1 year of HHA experience
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Fluency in English
