Portland, United States Oakhurst Dairy Full time

Oakhurst Ambassador

From the original Oakhurst Dairy, founded by the Bennett family on Woodford Street in Portland in 1921, to the modern 100% farmer-owned dairy on Forest Avenue in Portland, Oakhurst has always stood for The Natural Goodness of Maine. It's about more than milk. It's about standing up for what you believe and doing what's right.

In 2014 Oakhurst was acquired by Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), a national dairy farmer-owned cooperative. Oakhurst is a wholly owned subsidiary of DFA and continues to operate independently.

For more than 25 years, Oakie the Oakhurst Acorn has been a favorite of children and their families across Maine and New Hampshire, bringing smiles and fun to parades, fairs, festivals, and schools. If you ever had a dream of dressing up as a nutty character and making people happy, then we want to talk to you

Not interested in dressing up as Oakie; not a problem; we have other opportunities that include being Oakie's escort to events and a merchandiser. The products are already at the supermarket; we just need you to restock the refrigerated shelves with Oakhurst products, rotate the dairy products, and maintain a clean, positive appearance of all our displays and offerings. Great opportunity for a college student or anyone looking to make extra money.
