Private Event Lifeguard

On Guard provides private event lifeguards for backyard pool parties. Shifts and exact locations will vary week to week, however most events fall on the weekend therefore weekend availability is essential. Pay is dependent on experience and ranges from $15-$19/hr., with mileage available for events 30 miles or further from home. Participation on a stipend based on-call schedule is required to ensure that we can staff last minute events and holidays.

Job Requirements:
Ensure safety of all swimmers by taking precautionary measures and enforcing rules BEFORE an accident happens.

Wear On Guard uniform and carry provided equipment at all times.

Must be outgoing and treat each person with respect and politeness.

Perform rescues and basic first aid when necessary - you will be provided with a rescue tube, resuscitation mask, and basic first aid supplies.

Job Qualifications:
Must be certified by the American Red Cross in Lifeguarding, CPR, First-Aid, and AED use.

Professional and mature demeanor at all times

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 20 per week
