Locksmith - Available Sundays

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Locksmith to join Pop-A-Lock of Polk County. Looking for a personable individual to perform residential, automotive, and commercial locksmith services. Two years of experience is preferred. This is a full-time position with competitive pay. Position available immediately.

Your day will involve driving a company van to customer locations throughout Polk County to perform locksmith services. Typical tasks include making keys, remotes, and push-to-start keys for a variety of vehicles, rekeying locks for businesses and homeowners, key duplication, lock picking, lock installation, and more. Much of our work is done outside.

**Duties**:

- Install, repair, and adjust locks
- Cut new or duplicate keys using key-cutting machines
- Perform lock picking, rekeying, and master keying
- Provide emergency lockout services for residential, commercial, and automotive clients
- Assess security needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Maintain accurate records of services provided

- Assess a situation and solve problems
- Mechanical aptitude is critical
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Good attention to detail
- Customer oriented
- Basic computer / cell phone skills
- Ability to work independently
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Some lifting required
- We are military-friendly and appreciate the value of military experience
- Must be willing to work Sunday
- Shifts are 10-12 hours long, ending as late as 9pm. Hours and shifts are negotiable. 10 or 12 hour shifts - four or five days a week. Lets discuss what works best for you.

Successful applicants will be quick learners with an ability to work independently and make good decisions.

Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
