**Position Summary**:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Data Abstractor
- Registered Nurse
- Quality Management
- Remote Opportunity.

**Responsibilities**:

- Performs other duties as assigned
- Responsible for the accurate and timely collection of data elements.
- Reports data to appropriate agencies or data bases timely.
- Develops reports to be utilized for quality reporting.
- Works with members of the Quality Management department to identify needed data elements for abstraction and recommends design changes for clinical system build.
- RepRepresents the Quality Management Department and works collaboratively with members of various clinical departments relative to quality improvement activities

**Minimum Qualifications**:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree Nursing. Current and valid NYS Registered Nurse License. 3-5 years Clinical experience as an RN providing patient care in an acute facility. Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, detailed oriented, analytical presentation, problem solving and multi-tasking skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Ability to interpret Data..

**Required Licenses**: Registered Nurse License-NYS

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Master's Degree Nursing. American Nurses Association orHealthcare Information and Management Systems Society.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $92,710.42 - $138,642.63 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
