Position Summary

**Responsibilities**:

- Washes windows and mirrors.
- Takes out the trash and recycling.
- Wipes down and sanitizes surfaces.
- Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks restrooms.
- Handles leaf and snow removal as needed.
- Follows instructions from the facilities supervisor.
- Sweeps, mops, polishes, and vacuums floors.
- Mows lawns, waters plants, and removes litter.
- Uses common cleaning tools and outdoor power equipment.
- Organizes the janitor closet and stores all supplies and tools.
- Completes minor repairs, like switching light bulbs and unclogging toilets.
- Notifies the Facilities Supervisor when major repairs are needed.
- Fills out checklists at the end of every shift.
- Locks the doors at the end of night shifts.
- Follows safety rules and precautions.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures
- Keeping the site clean.
- Receiving positive reviews about the facility.
- Anticipating team needs for supplies.
- Works well independently and has strong time management skills.
- Follows written and verbal instructions from supervisors..
- Collaborates with other porters and maintenance workers as needed.
- Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing and walking for most of the shift, bending, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
- Other Duties as assigned by management
- Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 Experience as porter in hospitality, restaurant or other relevant industry
- Requires flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Inclusivity Commitment:
**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Ability to Relocate:

- SoHo, NY: Relocate before starting work (required)
