**PURPOSE AND SUMMARY**:
Assists with operations, maintenance and repairs of landfill gas collection and conveyance systems and electrical generating equipment located at Solid Waste Department facilities, while maintaining Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) air permit compliance and Public Service Commission (PSC) pipeline compliance.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Assists with operations, maintenance and repair of landfill gas collection, landfill gas pipeline, flares and electric power generation equipment used by Solid Waste Department for electric power generation; maintains WDNR air permit and PSC pipeline compliance.
- Prepares maintenance records and logbooks in compliance with WDNR air permit and PSC pipeline requirements.
- Maintains repair parts inventories to allow timely completion of maintenance activities.

**REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND CERTIFICATION**:

- Training and experience equivalent to an Associate’s Degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Electronic/Electrical Technology, Automotive Mechanics Technology or certificate of completion of an apprenticeship in Maintenance related skilled trades.
- Ability to obtain pipeline operator certification in accordance with Subpart N of 49CFR Part 192.
- Possess current valid Wisconsin driver license and minimum auto insurance coverage as required by County.

**COUNTY APPLICATION REQUIRED FOR CONSIDERATION**

Pay: $26.72 - $29.69 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
