A manufacturing company is seeking a Bilingual Japanese/English Senior Product Manager to join their team in San Jose, CA. This position is responsible for managing the life cycle of the company’s operational products. Thermal interface material is the main product. A bachelor's degree in business or related, the ability to speak/read/write Japanese and at least 3 years of sales experience is required. This is a full time, exempt, in person, position, with bonus, excellent benefits, and 401k.
- Identify, research, and develop new business opportunities within semiconductor, electronics, data center, and other thermal management markets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Drive the end-to-end sales process from lead generation through quotation, negotiation, award, and commercialization
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to customer engineering and procurement teams.
- Support customer evaluation, qualification, and design-in activities for Thermal Interface Materials (TIM) and related specialty material solutions.
- Coordinate customer projects with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and other functional teams in North America, Japan, and Asia
- Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis
- Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events
- Prepare customer presentations, business proposals, and sales reports
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
- Able to speak, read and write Japanese
- 3 years of sales experience in the chemical materials or electric parts industry
- Experience building relationships with key stakeholders and product development teams
