- 3rd ShiftAssembler/Spot Welder – 3rd ShiftFull-TimeKings Mountain, NC$20.00 per hour plus $2.50 shift premiumSunday – Thursday | 7:00 PM – 5:30 AMFridays and Saturdays as production dictatesWe are seeking dependable and motivated Assemblers to join our manufacturing team in Kings Mountain, NC. As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality products by performing assembly and fabrication tasks in a safe, efficient, and team-oriented manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in producing quality results.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and perform simple and complex assembly and fabrication operations on benches, floor fixtures, or progressive manufacturing linesFollow process work instructions to assemble products accurately and efficientlyOperate a variety of hand tools and power tools safelyPerform product inspections according to inspection instructions and quality standardsOperate manual production equipment including spot welders, tack welders, gas welders, plasma cutters, sealer guns, spray guns, sanders, and grinders as assignedUtilize measuring tools to verify product specificationsProperly handle hazardous waste generated during production in accordance with company proceduresMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaSupport a team-oriented environment while meeting production and quality goalsPerform additional duties as assigned by the Team Leader, Supervisor, or ManagerRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDBasic math, reading comprehension, and communication skillsBasic understanding of industrial safety practicesAbility to read and follow work instructionsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shiftStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityReliable attendance and dependable work ethicPreferred Qualifications1–2 years of manufacturing or production experienceExperience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipmentPrevious experience in assembly or fabricationExperience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentCore Competencies: Assembly, Manufacturing, Fabrication, Hand Tools, Power Tools, Quality Inspection, Blueprint & Work Instruction Compliance, Measuring Tools, Safety Compliance, Teamwork, Attention to Detail, Production Efficiency
