About the Role
This is a senior individual contributor engineering role at a fast-growing fintech company building global payments infrastructure that processes billions of dollars annually for over a million payees. You'll be a core technical voice - designing and shipping the scalable backend systems that power real-time money movement at scale.
What You'll Do
Design and build scalable, production-ready systems for global payments infrastructure.
Develop high-throughput backend systems capable of handling large volumes of transactional data.
Launch and iterate on applications and large software projects end-to-end.
Contribute to the technical vision and strategy for money movement solutions.
Collaborate closely with a small, high-caliber team to solve complex engineering challenges.
What We're Looking For
7+ years of experience designing and building scalable, production-ready systems.
Proven ability to move fast and deliver pragmatic, effective solutions under ambiguity.
Experience working with large-scale data and architecting high-throughput backend systems.
Strong track record of launching and iterating on applications or major software projects.
Proficiency with Python and React , ideally at scale.
Hands-on experience with AWS and ECS infrastructure.
Experience in FinTech or financial systems is a plus.
Infrastructure experience with Kubernetes (K8s) is a bonus.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $200,000 - $280,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
On-site in Los Angeles, CA. Candidates in New York, NY or San Francisco, CA may also be considered.
