Responsibilities:
Teach assigned courses and be available to students during the contract periodPrepare course syllabi, course outlines (if necessary) and related instructional materialsMaintain student records, including attendance and gradesAdminister student evaluationsParticipate in orientation and faculty meetings as requestedParticipate in student retention activities as requestedPromote college educational programs and services to the communities served by WNCQualifications:Required
Qualifications:
Master's Degree or Master's in progress. NOTE: Employment for candidates holding a Bachelor's degree (BSN) is contingent on approval by the Nevada Board of Nursing. Approval will be sought by Western Nevada CollegePreferred
Qualifications:
One or more years of experience working on a Pediatric or Obstetrical unitExperience teaching college level coursesExperience with distance education/web-teaching modalitiesFluency in SpanishAdditional InformationThis is a part-time, temporary/seasonal position. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis to establish an applicant pool. As vacancies occur, they are filled from the pool. This position is primarily based on our Carson campus but may have some work periodically on our Fallon and Douglas campuses.
