Los Angeles, CA, United States Evlo AI Full-time

About The Role The Operations Manager owns the operational backbone of a fast-moving technology organization: the processes, systems, and cross-functional coordination that keep engineering, product, and go-to-market teams executing at speed.

This is a hands-on role for a builder who thinks in systems. You will map workflows, instrument them with the right tooling, measure what matters, and continuously remove friction — turning operational chaos into repeatable, scalable processes as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve core business processes across onboarding, procurement, expense management, and internal support, documented in Notion or Confluence as living SOPs
  • Drive cross-functional projects end-to-end, managing timelines, dependencies, and stakeholders across engineering, finance, people, and go-to-market teams
  • Administer and optimize the operational tool stack (Okta, Expensify, Ramp, Zip, Airtable, and similar) including access management, workflow automation, and vendor contracts
  • Build operational dashboards and reporting in Looker, Tableau, or Google Sheets to track KPIs like cycle times, cost per process, and team utilization
  • Identify bottlenecks through data analysis and process observation, then design and ship measurable improvements
  • Own business continuity and compliance logistics, including SOC 2 evidence collection, vendor security reviews, and audit readiness coordination
  • Serve as the operational escalation point for leadership, surfacing risks, resource gaps, and process failures before they impact delivery

What We Are Looking For

  • 4-7 years of operations, program management, or business operations experience, ideally at a venture-backed or high-growth technology company
  • Demonstrated ability to run multiple concurrent cross-functional projects from kickoff to completion
  • Hands-on experience administering SaaS tooling and building workflow automations (Zapier, Make, or native integrations)
  • Strong analytical skills: comfortable building models and dashboards in spreadsheets and BI tools
  • Excellent written communication; able to turn ambiguous problems into clear plans and documented processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Bonus: Experience with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 compliance operations, procurement systems (Zip, Coupa), or having built an ops function from scratch at an early-stage company
