Senior Software Engineer
Location:
Alpharetta, GA or Oakland, CA - MUST be willing to go onsite 1 day a week

7+ years Software Engineering, 5+ years Oracle Fusion/Cloud Financials, OIC, Oracle ERP, SQL, BI Publisher, VBCS/VB Studio, OCI, integrations, and Finance/Accounting processes (AP, AR, GL, Procurement).

The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, implement, and support enterprise-scale Oracle Cloud Financials solutions and related cloud technologies. This technical leadership role supports Finance, Accounting, and Procurement capabilities by delivering secure, scalable, reliable, and high-performing applications and integrations. The role is a 12-month-plus contract engagement and follows a hybrid schedule requiring one day per week onsite in Oakland, California, or Alpharetta, Georgia.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience. A master's degree is a plus. At least seven years of software engineering experience, including five or more years of technical development experience with Oracle Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning or Oracle Cloud Financials. Proven experience developing finance transformation strategies and leading execution using Oracle Fusion and other Oracle Cloud technologies. Experience supporting enterprise financial processes such as month-end close and financial controls. Experience with application integrations, system configurations, data flows, testing, troubleshooting, and production support. Proven ability to design and develop scalable, secure applications and end-to-end solutions across front-end and back-end technologies. Strong Structured Query Language skills and experience working with large, complex datasets. Expertise in BI Publisher report development, interface development and troubleshooting, application security roles, and workflow approvals. Ability to translate complex business and accounting requirements into scalable functional and technical solutions. Experience with Agile development methodologies, test-driven development, continuous delivery, and automated testing practices. Strong analytical, root-cause analysis, problem-solving, written communication, verbal communication, presentation, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to lead complex cross-functional projects, manage multiple priorities, develop quantitative cost-benefit analyses, and guide or mentor associate engineers. Tools and Technologies:
