Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Operating Room to provide high-quality patient care in a surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of perioperative procedures and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to plan and execute patient care.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team.
- Maintain a sterile environment during surgical procedures.
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery.
Shift Information
- Schedule: 4x10 Hour shifts (Day shift: 09:00 - 19:30)
- Weekday scheduled shifts: 10 hours
- Weekday night call shifts: 8 hours (23:00 - 07:00)
- Weekend scheduled and call shifts: 10/12 hours
- Up to 6 shifts of call and/or weekend scheduled shifts per 6-week schedule
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required; first-time travelers are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
