Job Title:Strong Java backend with 5 years of Angular front-end (any exposure to fixed income or Institutional lending)
Location:1633 Broadway at between 50th/51st

Work Mode: Hybrid 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home (but note many banks are now changing to 5 days)

Interview process: 1 video interview for 45 minutes each and final interview is in-person.

Pay is: $85 - 90/hour corp to corp (this is high pay so they are looking for strong candidats.

Overview client Institutional Lending Tech team needs an experienced full stack developer (actually Server Side Java with UI ) to help build leading-edge and scalable systems to support multiple business verticals supporting origination, underwriting, asset management, business operations, market insights, loan pricing, and risk calculations.

Design and develop a high-performance, scalable platform to support multiple Lending business lines.

Develop and maintain reusable and testable backend and frontend components .

Actively contribute to agile squad ceremonies and practices .

Apply software engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration .

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.

Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards in all development activities

What You'll Bring to the Role? RECRUITERS MUST RUN CHECKLIST / KEYWORDS UNDERLINED

7+ years of a proven development experience in Java, Spring, restful micro-services

5+ years of a proven web-applications development experience in Angular, JS or TS, CSS and HTML
Experience in OOP concepts and design patterns

Experience in working with modern code IDEs such as IntelliJ or VS Code

Hands-on experience with AI developer productivity tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amp, or similar)

Understanding in relational or document databases (SQL, MongoDB or similar)
Strong expertise in relational or document databases (Sybase, MongoDB, or similar)

Fluent in English with Excellent communication skills

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies SDLC and Agile
