Senior Software Engineering Leader
Required Skills &
Experience:
10+ years of software development experience with significant engineering leadership responsibility. Proven experience managing engineering managers and large, distributed software development teams. Demonstrated success building, coaching, and scaling high-performing engineering organizations. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across engineering, product, and executive leadership. Experience improving delivery processes, team structure, and organizational effectiveness. Excellent communication skills and an emotionally intelligent, collaborative leadership style.
Nice to Have Skills &
Experience:
Previous experience as a Technical Program Manager before moving into engineering leadership. Experience with developer platforms, APIs, libraries, or open-source technologies. Exposure to digital twins, geospatial technologies, 3D visualization, or AECO-related software.
Job Description
Our engineering software client is seeking a senior software engineering leader to manage and scale high-performing development teams building platform technologies that power digital twin solutions. This role is heavily people-focused (approximately 80% leadership / 20% technical) and will oversee at least 10 direct reports within a large global engineering organization. The ideal candidate has a proven track record leading engineering managers and distributed teams while driving delivery, organizational effectiveness, and team growth. A background in technical program management prior to leadership is highly preferred.
