$37.64 - $65.91 per hour

Overview
AWS Infrastructure Services designs, plans, delivers and operates the global infrastructure behind AWS, including data centers and their servers, storage, networking, power and cooling equipment.
What You Will Do
- Perform daily rounds and record readings from electrical, mechanical and fire and life safety equipment
- Monitor the Building Management System and Electrical Power Management System
- Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events and perform rack installs and decommissioning
- Perform preventive maintenance, root cause analysis and repair
- Write technical documentation for change management and manage projects start to finish
- Supervise on-site contractors, subcontractors and vendors
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Experience working shifts longer than eight hours
- 2+ years of practical experience with electrical systems, mechanical systems, HVAC or fire suppression
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of network design and layout, including low-voltage copper and fiber cabling
- Experience in data center engineering
Work Conditions
On-site, 24/7 operation with weekday or weekend rotations of 3- and 4-day weeks and shifts up to 12 hours.
Compensation
$37.64 to $65.91 per hour, plus sign-on payments and RSUs. Night shifts carry a 13% differential.
