Major Duties:
• Design and develop software components based on screen design documents that fit within technical framework as outlined by technical architects
• Ensure code meets standards and tested appropriate to the platform
• Provide technical guidance to the development team as required.
• A team player with an ability to own the design and code as per requirement given.
• Communicate status (written and verbal) to project team and management
• Continuously looks for ways to improve the application's stability, scalability and user experience
• Addresses architecture security and owns the team's approach to technical risks and mitigation
Required Skills:
• Experience 8-12 years, Java/J2EE, Spring boot, Microservices and Web based development experience.
• Should have hands-on working experience in developing User interfaces using UI frameworks such as React JS mandatory.
• Knowledge in Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC).
• Agile Methodology, Experience in either Maven, Ant or Gradle
• Experience using at least some of the following technologies: Java8, J2EE, APIs, RESTful interfaces, SpringBoot, Microservices based architecture, MVC (Spring, Struts), Unix, JavaScript, Oracle PL/SQL, Secure Software Development, Static Analysis tools like Sonarcube, Checkmarx, etc, Kafka messaging, JMS - MQ/Solace.
• Experience working on Agile methodology. Familiar with DEVOPS process (CI/CD).
• Good understanding on cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS and Saas), Dockers
• Good knowledge on Database concepts especially Oracle (SQL and PL/SQL).
Knowledge/Skills:
• Agile Methodology
• Knowledge of user interface frameworks, Java, Application servers
• Knowledge of full software development lifecycle
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• A positive goal orientated attitude with a focus on delivery
Preferred/ Recommended Skills:
• Test Frameworks
• Experience on Azure & PCF
• Financial Domain experience
• Good knowledge of Messaging and Event Driven Architecture.
• Leadership skills
