Position: Anesthesia Technician
Location: Georgia
Schedule
- Shift: 8-hour Days (Monday to Friday)
- Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
The Anesthesia Technician supports the anesthesia department by preparing and setting up the necessary equipment and supplies for each anesthetizing location. Responsibilities include routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, ensuring a clean environment, and maintaining supply levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up anesthesia equipment and supplies.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of anesthesia equipment.
- Maintain a sterile and organized work environment.
- Monitor and maintain supply levels in the anesthesia department.
- Assist in the handling and delivery of pharmaceuticals under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Anesthesia Technician.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
- Certified Anesthesia Technologist (ASATT) certification.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Candidate must be available to work during the winter holiday season, including:
- 2 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day
- 1 minor holiday: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve
