Backend Developer
Design, develop, and maintain server-side features for CAMB.AI's localization platform. Implement and optimize APIs to support seamless integration between frontend, backend, and third-party services. Collaborate with AI/ML teams to ensure smooth integration of machine learning models into backend systems. Ensure the scalability and performance of the backend infrastructure to handle large-scale data processing and real-time video streams. Optimize and refactor existing code to improve efficiency, scalability, and security. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve any server-side issues or bottlenecks.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in backend development, ideally working with scalable and distributed systems.
Proficiency in backend technologies such as Python, Node, or Go.
Strong experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching mechanisms, and RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, and experience with microservices architecture.
Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker. Kubernetes is a plus).
Strong knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on performance optimization and scalability.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team.
Nice to Have:
Experience in working with video processing or AI-driven solutions.
Familiarity with serverless architecture.
Knowledge of security best practices and experience in securing APIs.
