Locations: San Antonio, TX
Duration: 06 Months Pay Range: $45-$50/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)
Local to San Antonio only Role Descriptions:
Define and govern the target data architecture for P&C domains including data models, integration patterns, and platform usage (Snowflake, dbt, Control-M). Set standards for data product design, lineage, quality, and deployment that development teams must follow. Evaluate and introduce AI capabilities (Amazon Bedrock and related tools) into the architecture for code generation, metadata enrichment, anomaly detection, and operational assistance. Partner with business and engineering leads to translate domain needs into reusable architecture patterns and roadmaps. Ensure solutions support regulatory reporting, and operational SLAs; review major designs for fit and risk. Drive adoption of GitLab CI/CD practices, automated testing, and platform best practices across P&C data teams. Maintain the architecture decision record and technical roadmap for P&C data platforms.
Deep knowledge of Snowflake, dbt, modern orchestration (Control-M or equivalent), and BI platforms (Sigma or similar). Hands-on or strong working knowledge of Amazon Bedrock and LLM application patterns in data platforms. Proven ability to set standards, influence engineering teams, and communicate architecture trade-offs to technical and business audiences. Experience designing for scale, data quality, and regulatory compliance in insurance.
