Senior Life Actuarial Consulting Role
Client-facing actuarial consulting closer to client-facing consulting than an insurer-side reporting role because the work spans audit engagements for multiple insurers and reinsurers.
Senior Life actuarial consulting role in KPMG's Audit & Assurance Practice in Atlanta, supporting audits for insurers and reinsurers. You'll analyze reserves, policyholder liabilities, financial reporting, capital, and assumptions while developing and validating models in AXIS, Prophet, and Pathwise. The role suits candidates with at least three years of experience and progress toward ASA preferred.
Requirements:
Must have:
- 3+ years of recent actuarial experience in insurance, reinsurance, consulting, auditing, financial reporting, valuation, or modeling
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or related field
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer visa sponsorship
Strongly preferred:
- Progress toward ASA designation
- Strong understanding of Life, Annuity, and Long-Duration Health products
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, Statutory Accounting, IFRS, RBC, Economic Capital, and BSCR
- Experience with actuarial valuation, reserve analysis, financial reporting, and modeling platforms
- Strong analytical, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
