Registered Nurse - MedSurg/Tele Float Pool
Location unspecified
This is a 13-week contract position.
12 hour shifts, weekends as scheduled.
The Registered Nurse in the MedSurg/Tele Float Pool is responsible for providing care to patients on various units. This position requires flexibility to float to multiple units within the facility, ensuring quality care is administered to all assigned patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in MedSurg and Telemetry settings.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy as per protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must have current RN license and certification in BLS and ACLS.
- Travelers must pass a cardiac rhythm exam.
- Experience in MedSurg and Telemetry nursing is preferred.
- Ability to float to different units and adapt to various patient care environments.
