ESL Special Education Teacher in Strongsville, OH

Make a meaningful impact supporting multilingual learners in an educational setting with this rewarding contract opportunity. This position spans three buildings, providing both push-in and pull-out English as a New Language (ENL) instruction to a low-incidence caseload. Service is focused on students whose home languages include Spanish, Kinyarwanda, and Swahili. In addition, the role involves monthly check-ins and records review at a fourth campus, ensuring comprehensive student support.

Core Qualifications:

• Valid TESOL Certification, or alternative licensure actively pursuing a TESOL Endorsement
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher or ESL/ENL Teacher in school settings
• Comfort adapting instruction to diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds
• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with classroom teachers and support staff
• Proficiency in a language other than English is highly valued

What You'll Do:

• Deliver direct ENL services (both push-in and pull-out) to students across three buildings, grades and ages as assigned
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt curriculum and provide inclusive instruction
• Maintain and review student records, progress monitor, and attend meetings as needed
• Complete monthly records checks and student follow-ups at an additional campus
• Communicate regularly with team members and families to support student progress
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for compliance and state/federal reporting

This is a full-time contract position following a traditional school schedule, 37.5 hours per week from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with the assignment running through the end of May 2027.
