Senior A&P Technician
Are you a seasoned A&P Mechanic with extensive experience across corporate turbine aircraft who thrives in an environment built on true loyalty, high-end service, and deep-rooted core values?
We are representing a premier, highly respected aircraft management and sales organization with a long-standing history of excellence in the corporate aviation sector. Managing a high-caliber fleet of light to large-cabin business jets for prominent corporate clients, this company operates a unique, boutique management model where the customer and the employee always come first.
Due to long-term team retirements, we are seeking a Senior A&P Technician (7+ Years Experience) to join a tight-knit flight and maintenance department that offers top-tier compensation, unmatched job security, and next-level employee care.
This is not a typical high-turnover MRO or corporate maintenance shop. The culture is centered on loyalty, friendship, and extraordinary personal support:
- Zero Layoff Track Record: If a client sells or transitions an aircraft, technicians are retained. Your long-term stability is guaranteed.
- Extremely Generous Leadership: Legendary owner support and deep commitment to the team—demonstrated through extraordinary acts of care:
- Full Salary During Family Emergencies: When an employee's child broke his C4 vertebra in his spine and required an extended 3-month recovery, the owner continued paying the employee's full salary for the entire 3 months as if he had never left.
- Dream Rewards & Bucket-List Experiences: When a dedicated employee had never used his PTO, the owner took him on a 3-day helicopter skiing trip—fulfilling a lifelong personal dream.
- Family & Work-Life Priority: While this is a high-touch corporate aviation role requiring flexibility for morning/evening departures, leadership actively supports family life—ensuring you never miss your kids' important milestones, games, or life events.
- "If It's Broke, Fix It": No cutting corners or begging for budget. Clients give complete approval to ensure every aircraft is safe, squawk-free, and maintained to immaculate standards.
Exceptional Compensation & Benefits Package:
- Guaranteed Pay Structure: Paid for 2,080 base hours + 10% guaranteed bonus hours annually. Technicians typically work ~1,700 actual hours per year while receiving total earnings equivalent to 2,200+ paid hours per year.
- Daily Overtime: Overtime paid after 8 hours per day, not just 40 hours per week.
- 401(k) Retirement Plan: 50% company match.
- Comprehensive Benefits: Premium medical, dental, vision, and full coverage options.
Role Overview & Scope of Work:
In this role, you will handle line maintenance, light scheduled inspections, and pre/post-flight operations for a diverse corporate fleet across modern hangar facilities.
- Aircraft Fleet Scope: Light, mid-size, and large-cabin corporate jets.
- In-House Maintenance Scope: Perform line maintenance, squawk resolution, AD research, parts ordering, logbook updates, and routine inspections under 400 man-hours. Major multi-year inspections and heavy warranty work are sent out to partner facilities.
- Flight Line Operations: Pre-flight and post-flight support for C-suite executives and flight crews (launching aircraft, towing, fueling, greeting clients/pilots, and ensuring pristine aircraft delivery).
- Facility & Fleet Ownership: Maintaining hangar cleanliness, equipment upkeep, and ensuring 100% mission readiness for all managed aircraft.
Schedule & Flexibility:
- Shift Structure: Typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with flexibility required around early morning departures (e.g., 4:30 AM arrival for an early launch—letting you wrap up early in the afternoon if the schedule permits).
- Rotating Weekend Coverage: Shared team rotation for weekend flight launches and returns.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 7+ years of hands-on A&P maintenance experience working on corporate turbine aircraft.
- Certifications: Active FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required.
- Service Mindset: Polished, professional, and client-focused demeanor suitable for interacting directly with corporate executives and flight crews.
- Self-Motivated & Autonomous: "Go-do-it" mindset—able to research squawks, order parts, complete log entries, and manage time independently.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration
