We have an exciting new opportunity for an Integration & Test Engineer. The successful candidate will work with the design team and be the integration & test authority for assigned projects. The I&T Engineer supports the development and maintenance of the test requirements, test plan, & test approach from project kick-off through closure of the contract. Responsible for verification of technical scope as defined by the design authority, with a focus of maintaining cost and schedule goals. Facilitates coordination of cross-functional engineering teams for requirements development. Decipher technical contractual requirements and allocates them to test cases within the project's test plan Cordinate with the mechanical design team to create hardware and mechanical designs and drawings for integrating Kratos and Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) equipment Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) and coordinate with the Engineering Support team to get parts on order and systems built Coordinate with development teams to manage lab space and equipment calibration Coordinate with customer support and development team to triage customer inquiries and discrepancies associated with delivered systems Create test procedures and automated test software to verify product's compliance with requirements Perform customer witnessed acceptance testing of project hardware Manage requirement traceability through verification, using tools such as a Requirements Verification Matrix Develop requirements for creating test simulators or custom test tools Assess project technical risks and provides mitigation plans particularly around testability Coordinate the review, presentation, and release of test documentation to support requirements compliance, including Technical Interchange Meetings, Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews Coordinate with the Project Engineer & Program Manager (PM), design team and functional management to communicate program impediments or issues / delays in completing tasksExperience and Skills Minimum
Education:
Bachelors Degree Familiarity with RF Communications Familiarity with commercial test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer, Vector Network Analyzer, Oscilloscope, WAN Emulator, etc. Ability to create test plans and test procedures in MS Word Ability to create system design drawings using MS Visio Good communication and relationship skills with program leadership, engineering leadership, customers, and engineering team members Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors, maintaining a professional demeanor Awareness of software and product development techniques, Agile, SCRUM, plus Water-fall approaches Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance Python Coding Experience RF Comms/DSP knowledge Sattelite Communication System knowledge Competitive salary based on experience and education Salary Range: $80,000 – $130,000 Job Benefits Additional Benefits include: Tuition Assistance, Parental Leave, Annual Incentives, Flex Time and More Medical Dental Vision Tax Savings Accounts (HSA / FSA) Life Insurance Short Term Disability Long Term Disability Employee Assistance Program 401k Employee Stock Purchase Plan PTO Education Assistance Program Paid Holidays Kratos Defense is an Equal Opportunity Affirmative Action Employer.
