Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and tailor appropriate treatment plans.
  • Facilitate communication among supervisors, family members, and other stakeholders to discuss patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Provide a structured schedule for appointments, home visits, and client observations to ensure systematic progress monitoring.
  • Coordinate home visits to perform in-depth observations, chart reviews, and interviews, ensuring a thorough understanding of client circumstances.
  • Implement and oversee program plans, ensuring they are executed effectively for each patient.
  • Participate actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to contribute insights and strategies regarding patient care.
  • Document monthly and quarterly progress notes that reflect client improvements and areas requiring focus.
  • Organize and deliver training sessions for staff members, ensuring competence in program implementation and documentation standards.
  • Conduct follow-up interviews and home visits to provide ongoing support to clients, reinforcing their treatment goals and needs.
  • Maintain accurate and accessible records to ensure timely information sharing among relevant parties.
  • Act as a liaison with the public and the mental health community, assisting in the development of community resources and support systems.
  • Contribute to enhancing training materials and procedures aimed at improving program effectiveness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC at Crimson Care Center, you will engage with a diverse patient population that includes both adults and youth facing a range of mental health challenges. Your expertise in family therapy, trauma recovery, and substance misuse counseling will enable you to tailor your approach to meet each client's unique needs effectively. Understanding legal and ethical standards in mental health will be crucial to maintaining the trust and integrity of the therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.
  • A minimum of two years of demonstrated professional counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting.
  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma recovery, or substance misuse is strongly preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of applicable legal and ethical standards in mental health care.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for establishing rapport with diverse clientele.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other relevant technologies.
Preferred Experience

Experience in clinical settings is highly valued, especially in areas focusing on trauma-informed care, couples therapy, and substance abuse recovery. Candidates who have developed training materials or protocols for mental health programs will find their skills particularly advantageous.
