Key Responsibilities\n

As a mental health counselor at Little Fuse, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate client needs and formulate individualized treatment plans that outline targeted therapeutic objectives. \n
• Diagnose and treat various mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD, with the capability to adapt care plans based on patient progress and needs. \n
• Work collaboratively with patients' families, healthcare providers, and community organizations to provide a holistic approach to care and coordinate necessary referrals for external services including support groups and specialized treatment. \n
• Ensure compliance with the Mental Health Practice Act, as well as federal and state regulations, while maintaining high standards of ethical practice. \n
• Prioritize and organize daily responsibilities by effectively managing the needs of new, current, and discharging patients. \n
• Provide crisis intervention support and emergency management when clinical situations arise, ensuring timely responses to patient needs. \n
• Act as an advocate for patients and their families, facilitating communication and follow-up care, while addressing any barriers to treatment and recovery. \n
• Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and maintain licensure requirements. \n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse range of patients, including children, adults, and families facing mental health struggles. Each client presents unique challenges, allowing you to tailor your approach to fit their specific circumstances. You will provide treatment through telehealth modalities, ensuring that services are accessible to those who may face barriers to in-person visits.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, a related field, or Psychology from an accredited institution, with degree verification required. \n
• Current state licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or Psychologist. \n
• A deep understanding of and familiarity with community mental health resources available to patients. \n
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport effectively with clients. \n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting your skills and experience. In addition, you can receive a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000.
