  • Deliver individual therapy sessions using various modalities tailored to each client's preferences and clinical requirements, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Engage with clients through ongoing goal-setting and progress evaluation, fostering a trusting therapeutic alliance that encourages open communication.
  • Document all client interactions accurately and promptly, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in regular professional development opportunities to refine your skills and stay updated on the latest therapeutic practices, strengthening your ability to support clients effectively.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Synchrony, you will work with a diverse range of clients who present with various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our flexible telehealth model allows you to reach clients from different backgrounds across Los Angeles and beyond, who may have limitations in accessing traditional in-person services.

Qualifications
  • A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is mandatory.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective therapy sessions and documentation.
  • Demonstrated empathy and a non-judgmental approach, helping to create a safe haven for clients to explore their thoughts and experiences.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to balance caseload management and administrative responsibilities effectively.
Preferred Experience

Experience in providing teletherapy and familiarity with various clinical assessment tools is considered a significant advantage. Those with prior experience in private practice will find our environment suit their preference for autonomy and professional independence.
