Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand clients' mental health needs, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation before developing treatment plans.
• Creating personalized, evidence-based treatment strategies aimed at meeting individual client goals, integrating various therapeutic modalities as needed.
• Providing individual, couples, and group therapy sessions through telehealth platforms, adapting techniques to enhance client engagement and outcomes.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care for each client.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.
• Participating in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development activities to continually enhance your therapeutic skills and knowledge base.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse client base includes individuals from various backgrounds facing a spectrum of mental health challenges. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will work with clients experiencing conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and substance use difficulties. Fostering an inclusive and empathetic therapeutic environment is key to facilitating meaningful client engagement and effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
• A Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience conducting individual and group therapy within mental health settings.
• Strong proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques pertinent to mental health.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish rapport with a wide range of clients and cultural backgrounds.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.

Preferred Experience

• Previous telehealth experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for treating trauma, mood disorders, and anxiety-related issues.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment and contributing to interdisciplinary client care.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $50,000 to $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, we offer a competitive benefits package which includes:
