Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to gain a nuanced understanding of clients’ mental health challenges, and develop tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances.
• Provide individualized therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities, ensuring approaches are adapted to meet the distinct needs of each client.
• Collaborate closely with clients to establish clear therapeutic goals, monitor treatment progress, and adjust care plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Utilize virtual therapy options to ensure accessibility for clients who may prefer remote sessions due to geographic limitations or personal preference.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation that adheres to ethical guidelines and regulatory standards, ensuring the integrity of client records.
• Engage in continuous professional development, participating in training sessions focused on the latest in evidence-based practices and treatment frameworks offered by the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Wellness Bridge, your primary focus will be on adolescents and young adults, providing therapeutic support tailored to the unique challenges faced by individuals in this age group. You will work with clients experiencing a wide array of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, employing strategies that resonate with their developmental stages.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Active state licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or PsyD.
• Advanced proficiency with computers and telehealth platforms, specifically EHR systems, ensuring seamless session management and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and collaboration with colleagues.
• A professional demeanor coupled with a warm and empathetic approach to client interactions.

Preferred Experience

• 2-3 years of direct experience providing telehealth therapy, particularly with adolescents and young adults.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
• A willingness to undergo training in our unique treatment frameworks known as “care pathways.”
