Work Environment\nThis position is fully remote, allowing for flexible work from the comfort of your own home while providing telehealth services. Our clinic leverages cutting-edge technology to maintain effective communication and support among our mental health professionals. The work schedule is primarily Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs and schedules.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patients' individual needs and formulate effective treatment plans. \n
- Deliver structured evidence-based therapeutic interventions using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy during individual, couples, and family counseling sessions. \n
- Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups addressing common mental health issues, providing participants with both knowledge and a sense of community. \n
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. \n
- Offer crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, guiding clients toward safe and effective coping strategies. \n
- Educate patients regarding their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to foster independence and informed decision-making. \n
- Maintain accurate, timely, and secure documentation in compliance with legal, ethical standards, and the policies of Helping Hand Behavioral Clinic. \n
- Actively engage in professional development by participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health therapy. \n
Your role will focus on a diverse clientele, including individuals from various backgrounds and age groups facing mental health challenges. You will provide empathetic and informed care to ensure that every patient receives tailored support designed to foster recovery and personal growth.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas. \n
- In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic techniques, and evidence-based treatment methodologies. \n
- Proven aptitude for conducting thorough mental health assessments and developing patient-centered treatment plans. \n
- Experience providing individual and group therapy to diverse populations. \n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients. \n
- Commitment to professional ethics, sound judgment, and maintaining professional boundaries. \n
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital tools to streamline documentation and patient care processes. \n
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. \n
