Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of students to evaluate their mental health status and individual needs.
• Implementing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each student's unique challenges and goals.
• Providing ongoing counseling services, helping students navigate personal and emotional barriers to their academic success.
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and other stakeholders to facilitate a holistic approach to care for each student.
• Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Utilizing remote care platforms to deliver services, ensuring accessibility and consistency of care for all students.
• Documenting client interactions and treatment effectiveness in compliance with organization and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role specifically focuses on providing mental health services to K-12 students in various educational settings. You will work with diverse populations, including students experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. By providing tailored support and developing trusting relationships, you will help students overcome barriers that hinder their growth and achievement.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in Washington State, with a clear ethical record.
• Expert knowledge and experience in clinical social work, including treatment planning, engagement strategies, and psychological diagnostics.
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and telehealth platforms to provide effective remote counseling services.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of professional experience in a relevant clinical or school setting is required. Experience working with youth and understanding developmental psychology will be an advantage. Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and collaborative problem-solving within a school framework are also preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
