Work Environment

In this remote position, you will have the flexibility to set your own schedule while maintaining a collaborative connection with our team. You will engage mainly in teletherapy, allowing you to provide therapy to clients who may have unique challenges attending in-person sessions. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients, utilizing clinical interviews and standardized tools to gauge mental health status and create effective treatment plans.
  • Provide tailored individual therapy sessions through teletherapy, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other appropriate techniques to address diverse client needs.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to establish meaningful therapeutic goals, routinely monitoring their progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of client interactions, including clinical assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, seminars, and peer supervisions to remain current with emerging psychological practices and theories.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at BWL Mental Health Center, you will be working with a diverse range of clients dealing with various mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Your empathetic approach will help clients feel safe and understood as they navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications
  • Must hold a current and valid license in one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • Exhibit a profound sense of empathy and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients' experiences.
  • Possess strong organizational skills to effectively manage your caseload and administrative responsibilities.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in telehealth counseling and familiarity with digital platforms for virtual therapy.
  • A background in working with trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in outpatient therapy settings is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive compensation offered in the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, subject to experience and caseload.
