Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health challenges, strengths, and support systems.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations and collaborative discussions with clients.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices, ensuring effective delivery of individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans in response to any changes in their mental health status.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, offering immediate support and resources to clients facing acute distress.
• Maintain precise and confidential client records in accordance with state regulations and ethical guidelines to safeguard client privacy.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers to deliver well-rounded, comprehensive care.
• Stay informed on the latest scientific advancements and evolving treatment strategies in the mental health field through ongoing education and supervision.
• Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance your clinical skills and overall effectiveness as a mental health provider.
• Uphold ethical standards and best practices as set forth by relevant licensing boards and professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele in outpatient settings, including adults and adolescents facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns. Understanding each client's unique background and circumstances is crucial in providing tailored support that fosters resilience and growth.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
• Active state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) is mandatory to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective client interactions.

Preferred Experience
