Student Worker, Customer Support
The Student Worker, Customer Support provides customer support by proactively monitoring ArcBest shipments and quickly resolving problems as they arise.
Responsibilities
- Communicate shipment status to both internal and external customers.
- Find, recommend, and implement solutions to problems.
- Operate office machines, such as photocopiers, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers.
- Type, format, proofread, and edit correspondence and other documents using computers.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
Requirements
Education:
- Pursuing Bachelor's Degree, required
Experience:
- No prior experience necessary
Computer Skills:
- Basic competence in phone skills, listening, and computer programs like Microsoft Office Outlook.

Other Details
Work Hours:
- This is a part time position that will average fewer than 30 hours per week. Work hours generally fall between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
Travel Requirements:
- Minimal (0%-25%)
Compensation:
- This is an hourly position paid biweekly.
