Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans, including pre-crisis and crisis plans, positive behavior plans, and risk assessments aligned with each client’s unique needs.
  • Document interactions and treatment progress accurately, ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards within specified timelines.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools, collaborating with the clinical team to ensure the highest standards of care and service delivery.
  • Engage actively in the development and implementation of individualized positive behavior support plans, working with an interdisciplinary team to foster behavioral improvements.
  • Participate in agency licensing and accreditation processes to maintain compliance and quality assurance.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners to facilitate access to necessary resources.
  • Foster effective communication to meet contract standards and promote our mission within the community.
  • Develop relationships with local, state, federal, and private organizations to advocate for clients, enhance operational capabilities, and identify new partnership opportunities.
  • Commit to ongoing personal and professional development by attending relevant conferences, workshops, and statewide task forces.
  • Embody and promote the mission, values, philosophy, and principles of Genesis Health Clinic.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support organizational objectives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on adults and adolescents experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse issues, and behavioral disorders. You will have the opportunity to develop therapeutic relationships that encourage clients to achieve their fullest potential and engage in positive life changes.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in a behavioral health field is required to ensure a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.
  • An independent LMHC license issued by the state board of Pennsylvania is essential for practicing in this role.
  • Proficiency in documentation and clinical record maintenance is crucial; you must be comfortable generating reports that align with best practices.
  • Experience working in interdisciplinary team settings is imperative, fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to effectively convey ideas and coordinate care.
  • Judgment and decision-making capabilities are essential, allowing you to navigate complex client situations with confidence.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in a telehealth environment is highly desirable, along with familiarity with digital communication platforms.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of culturally competent care are advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
