Join our team today and be a part of Delivering Goods for the Good of AllWhat You'll Do:Maintains staff by orienting and training employees, developing personal growth opportunitiesAccomplishes staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; conducting training; implementing & enforcing systems, policies, and proceduresMaintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards, adhering to legal regulationsCompletes operations by developing schedules; assigning and monitoring work; gathering resources; implementing productivity standards; resolving operations problems; maintaining reference manuals; implementing new proceduresProvides quality service by enforcing quality, customer service standards, participate in submitting quality improvementsMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing procedures, specifications, MI’s and Field manualsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Accomplishes department objectives by organizing and monitoring work processInput Data into KRONOS, Rail RX, TRACS, MS Office and ExcelMonitoring employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coachingConduct annual reviews for staff performanceKnowledgeable in Root Cause Analysis, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Labor Analysis, 5s, 8 wastes and changeover reductionImplements methods and modifications to reduce/improve production costs. Propose and implement Cost Reduction initiatives that simplify manufacturing processes and increase plant profitsCollaborate with Lean and Continuous improvement teams at plant during Kaizen events or Value Stream Mapping activitiesWhat You'll Need: 5 years Supervision experienceAssociate degree or equivalent education preferredExperience with interpreting and enforcing company policies and legal guidelines of the fieldExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOutstanding organizational and leadership skillsMust be self-managed and have the ability to lead, inspire and motivate teamsLean concepts, Kaizen events and continuous improvement experience preferred
