Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and emotional well-being, identifying symptoms and stressors that affect their overall mental state.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are tailored to each client's objectives, using evidence-based methodologies and therapeutic interventions.
  • Provide various therapy modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy, ensuring that each client receives appropriate support based on their unique circumstances.
  • Regularly monitor and document clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.
  • Offer timely crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute stress or emotional turmoil, guiding them through challenging situations.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards to protect client privacy.
  • Collaborate proactively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care plans are in place.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health research and treatment, participating in professional development opportunities.
  • Engage in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Upkeep ethical guidelines and professional standards established by relevant licensing boards and organizations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a licensed Mental Health Counselor at Crosscare, you will work with diverse client populations, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and families. Our center addresses various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and more. By providing tailored therapeutic services, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients improve their emotional resilience and overall quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
  • Current valid state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW).
  • Proven clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, sufficient to recognize and analyze complex client issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interactions and collaboration with team members.
  • Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and dedication to enhancing clients’ well-being.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-centric environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ethical guidelines and laws governing mental health practice.

Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in professional mental health counseling or a related field is required.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, along with potential bonus opportunities based on performance.
