Showroom & Sample Coordinator
Since 1973, Vida Shoes International has been committed to becoming a global leader in the footwear industry. We are dedicated to designing, producing, and marketing quality branded footwear using our expansive international resources. Our wealth of knowledge stems from the diversity of brands and successful products we have produced year after year.
Compensation: $21-$24 an hour (35 hours a week)
Key Job Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To:
- Manage all shipping and receiving for the Kids division
- Manage showrooms making sure all samples are presented and they are always kept clean
- Manage sample storage keeping track of all confirmation and production samples
- Liaison between customer sample requests and overseas factories
- Keep track of all sample requests for customers
- Logging and reporting on all outgoing samples
- Support design, sales and merchandising team as needed
- Sample approvals via WorkZon
Qualifications
A./B.S. degree or equivalent experience
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong computer skills
Must be a problem solver with the ability to identify solutions and create solutions.
Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Eager to learn the footwear product development process
Must be able to move boxes and carry shoes throughout the building.
Hardworking with a passion for getting things done
