Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive initial evaluations to assess clients’ mental health status, history, and treatment needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ goals and preferences, integrating evidence-based practices.
• Offer engaging individual therapy sessions, utilizing solution-focused therapeutic techniques tailored to adult clients.
• Deliver virtual therapy services effectively via teletherapy platforms, ensuring a comforting and professional environment for clients.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention services as necessary, ensuring clients receive prompt support during challenging moments.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to remain current with mental health best practices and treatment advancements, ensuring high-quality care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult clients with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. By utilizing both in-person and virtual care modalities, you will strive to meet clients where they are, fostering a therapeutic alliance that encourages open dialogue and trust. Your expertise will empower clients to work towards their mental health goals in a compassionate and guided manner.

Qualifications

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective client engagement.
• Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude when working with clients.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, enabling the effective management of a diverse caseload.
• No history of disciplinary actions on any licensing boards.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a counseling or therapeutic role working with an adult population.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and telehealth platforms.
• Experience in managing a caseload and working independently while contributing to a team.
