Key Responsibilities- Manage a dedicated caseload of youth clients, ensuring the development of strong therapeutic relationships grounded in trust, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Conduct regular clinical sessions with clients to evaluate progress, discuss challenges, and prepare for future appointments or discharges.
- Craft, implement, and oversee tailored, person-centered treatment plans, adapting as necessary based on individual client needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes and treatment summaries, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and organizational policies.
- Perform comprehensive intake assessments to determine client needs and appropriate therapeutic paths.
- Engage in individual supervision sessions to facilitate professional growth and address clinical challenges.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure holistic treatment approaches and support.
- Embrace ongoing professional development opportunities and maintain a growth mindset in both clinical practice and personal advancement.
This role focuses primarily on audiences aged adolescence to young adulthood, dealing with a range of mental health concerns including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma-related challenges, and behavioral issues. The ideal candidate will be passionate about advocating for and empowering youth, helping them to navigate life's challenges and promote resilience through evidence-based interventions.
Qualifications- A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field is required.
- Current and active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
- Proficiency in meeting internal credentialing requirements relevant to clinical practices.
- A minimum of one year of clinical experience working with youth populations, including psychiatric and substance use treatment.
- Demonstrated skills in conducting assessments and providing both individual and group therapy sessions.
- Experience in electronic health record (EHR) systems, documenting therapy sessions, and managing client files effectively.
