Notifies the service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle. * Keeps shop area neat and clean. * Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as they were received. * Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc. * Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner. * Reports any safety issues immediately to management. * Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications * 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred. * ASE Certification required. * A-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair * Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies * Ambitious, hardworking presence in a team environment * Excellent customer service skills * Basic computer skills * Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality * Enjoy working in a dynamic environment * Ability to collaborate effectively * Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications * Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment * Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required * Valid driver's license and clean driving record Modern Infiniti of Greensboro is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug-free Workplace Employer.
